Situated on two small trapezium shaped lots with a 270 degree view of the Pacific Ocean, the design consists of a smooth polished concrete volume resting on rustic stone site walls. The upper volume contains two bedrooms and the living spaces occur between the polished volume and the pool, which occupies the full perimeter of the lower lot of land
The living spaces thus maintain the full view of the ocean, with very little delination between the exterior and interior spaces, surrounded on three sides by an infinity edged pool.
The upper volume is screened from the afternoon sun with a precast-concrete brise soleil, which also provides privacy from the main road below. A third guest bedroom is located in the garden, on the upper lot of land.
The house is scheduled to start construction in 2012.
